The colourful image depicts Jesus Christ consoling a suffering person or a penitent. The picture carries a guilded frame and on the left hand lower corner one finds the symbol of the Holy Land, the large red cross with four small cross on each corner. The image is a certificate of enrolment as a Member of the Crusade for the Holy Land. The picture bears the benefits and conditions for this Membership and at the bottom, one finds the Crusader's Prayer, which is to be said by each Member three times daily. This was published by the Commissariat of the Holy Land, Franciscan Monastery in Washington DC.
