The sepia-coloured image depicts St John Bosco with his hands over his chest in adoration of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The image seems to be put into an ornamental frame. In the middle two pages, one finds a calendar of saints of the year 1935. At the back, there is printed in blue ink Christmas and New Year blessings and wishes to all benefactors by the Salesians at the Oratory of Don Bosco in Sliema, ending with an axiom of St John Bosco.
