The Greek Dragus Rastopolo, a sailor on the galley San Martino, is accused of trying to desert while the ship was in Zante and then of participating in an attempt to murder the galley's captain Fra Francesco Sigismondo Thun. Witness statements collected from the captain, the marines Lorenzo Cassar and Pietro Sammut. He was sentenced to row for life.

Commences with examination of wittnesses. The first is Publio d'Alcuri, barbiero on the Galera Magistrale who testifies that while at the hospital of Trapani, he medicated Giuseppe Darmanin for a wound made with a sharp weapon between the 3rd and 4th ribs. He was wounded when trying to stop two Maltese soldiers from the galera San Martino from duelling with their swords. Many witness statements collected, providing information about maritime affairs and the Order's navy. The wound resulted in Darmanin's death. Cinthius Camilleri and Clemente Pansa were accused of complicity but acquitted. Giovanni de Munes was found guilty and exiled from Malta and Gozo for 10 years.

Dominicus Attard, Capitular Canon of the Cathedral of Mdina and Vicar General allows Julio Grima absolution from his oaths in contracts. This is then presented in court to initiate bankruptcy proceedings. See also documents 16 and 17.

Filippo Bologna who had been sentenced to be exiled from Malta for undisclosed crimes requests to be kept in the prisons of the Court until the galley of Cav. De Crenville leaves on Corso.

Confirmation by Notary Hyacinthus de Avolios that Nicola Sapiano had received 5 scudi from Philippus Vella for cotton. Confirmation by Notary Natale Pamiscianus that Salvus Chiappara had sold one cow to Nicola Sapiano.

Confiscation of property consisting in a third share of housing in Vittoriosa (described) belonging to the inherited estate of the late Paulus and Patruccius Calbara, and of Vincentia d'Amato, who owed money to the Confraternity of the Most Holy Sacrament, to be sold at auction and satisfy the debts.

Nicola Garrone, sergeant of the Galera Capitanale reports to Giovanni Galdiano as Captain General of the Order's Fleet that Cesare Galuppi from Lipari, a sailor aboard the same vessel had sought to desert by leaving the galera and going aboard a different corsairing vessel. He was sought and captured. Witness statements collected.

Domenicus Paulucci confirms receipt of 200 scudi in value from Antonio Fiteni consisting of various items, including items of manufactured cloth.

Compromised since top section of the document is missing throughout. Antonius de Paiella was owed large sums of money by Johannes Revest, Bathassare Gilibert, and Pierre Fartre and opens this case against them to retrieve his money (only Revest appears to be participating here). De Paiella was not in Malta and was being represented by his procurator Thomaso de Candia. The Judges were Fra Rafael Cotoner and Atanasius Alter, assisted by Notary Michaele Ralli.

Maria Micallef, daughter of Julio, unmarried and from Birkirkara accuses Petrus Xiberras of coming into her house repeatedly and sexually harassing her. Witnesses were heard, although the validity of some testimonies was contested. Petrus was found guilty but not kept in jail or fined. The case was appealed but the sentence confirmed.

Laurentius Baldacchino was owed 28 scudi dues from censi bullali to be paid by Petrus Agius, but since Petrus Agius was the alfero della [iovaloria] of Lia he couldn't be tried before the ordinary judge. Accordingly, Baldacchino requests the appointment of a special, competent judge.

Flaminio Zammit is accused of the murder of Franciscus Damato, rower aboard the Santa Maria, in Vittoriosa. Witness statements collected. He was found guilty and sentenced to a life sentence of rowing aboard the Order's galleys without pay and with bound feet.

Domenicus Prat, voluntary rower aboard the Order's galley La Vittoria, is accused of desertion. He had failed to report for duty and was chased down and arrested in Paola. He was sentenced to three years' rowing without pay.

Compromised due to staining and loss of paper. Fra Johannes Baptista Compagnoni of the Langue of Italy cedes to Fra Antonius Scalamonte, Prior of the Baiuliatus of The Holy Trinity of Venusii, all his rights over 130 scudi owed by Johannes Scalamonte, nephew of the same Antonius.
