The pale grey and brown image depicts the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles on Pentecost, in the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary, seated in the midst of the Apostles. This image is a memento of the pilgrimage held by the Third Order of the Franciscans from the Ta' Giezu Church to the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Valletta.
The rectangular image is a sample certificate of enrolement as a Member of the Crusade for the Holy Land, approved by the Holy See. At the front, there is an image of the Crucified Christ and next to this a prayer of a crusader which is to be said by every Member three times daily - morning, noon and night.
