The pastel-coloured image depicts a young St Lawrence holding a grid. This is because he suffered martyrdom by being burnt alive on a grid. In his right hand he holds the Word of God, the Bible, and the palm branch, the symboll of martyrdom. Overleaf there is handwritten in pencil 1924 Giugno 26, ricodio di Walter Naudi. There is also a rubber stamp of the Societas Papidi, Msida Branch. This was a name given to the Society of Christian Doctrine (M.U.S.E.U.M.).
