The image depicts a picture of the young Eucharistic martyr St Tarcisius, wearing the symbol JHS (the Latin acronym for Jesus Honinum Salvator – Jesus Savior of Mankind) on his chest , with Jeus Christ offering him the palm branch, symbol of martyrdom. This is a memento of the first solemn investiture of altar boys at the Msida Parish. There are listed the names of the Director, Assistant Director, Prefect, the principal altar boys divided into three groups as well as those known as reserves.
